Ingredients

  • 2-3 left-over young, organic rotisserie chicken bones

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp peppercorns (opt. grind)

  • 2-4 stalks celery

  • 1 handful chopped carrots

  • 1 rough chopped onion

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • any leftover vegetables

  • 4-6 cups water (to cover the bones and below the max line)

Directions

  • Set valve to seal. Set to high for 3 hours. Naturally release.
  • Strain out bones and vegetables.
  • Can be frozen in cubes for future use using silicone molds. Warm up to drink or add to your meat, rice, pasta, or veggie dishes for extra nutrients and flavor.

Notes

  • If you plan to store the broth in the fridge, keep the fat layer on top to protect the broth from bacteria. If you are freezing the broth, you can skim the fat off before freezing it. Add salt to taste when serving.
