Hello I’m Tera
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) | Master Blood Chemistry Education (MBCE) | Advanced Training in Functional & Optimal Blood Chemistry Analysis

My name is Tera, I’m a founder and a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner at Branch Collective Wellness. I grew up in LaCanada, CA but now reside in Laguna Niguel, CA with my husband, children ages 15 and 17, and husky mix, Bogey!
I have a B.S. in Animal Science from Oregon State University, M.A. in Counseling from Webster University and am Certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. I have been a Registered Veterinarian Technician (nurse) specializing in Emergency/Critical Care for 26 years.
After dealing with my own battles of IBS, digestive issues and food intolerances during college and later when I became pregnant with my first I became passionate about not just putting a bandaid on symptoms but finding out why they were happening. I went through a lifestyle clean up and have shared that passion now for years with others. I am very enthusiastic about helping people with digestive discomfort, food allergies and helping to navigate how to live a cleaner, less toxic lifestyle. My hope is to help others by breaking what traditionally they have been taught, through a holistic approach. I enjoy gardening, traveling, cooking for my family and spending time at the beach!
I have completed advanced training in blood chemistry analysis, allowing me to look beyond standard laboratory reference ranges and evaluate blood work through an optimal or functional wellness lens. This training helps me recognize patterns, trends, and potential red flags in lab results that may warrant nutritional and lifestyle support or further discussion with your healthcare provider.
By combining blood work with health history, symptoms, nutrition, and lifestyle, I can help identify areas where the body may need additional support.
I am able to see clients virtually and in person! I am available for both nutrition and lifestyle consulting.
